Currently the id field of an entity does not show up in the list of fields of the Schema and the type information has to be guessed based on the $idOptions property, which does not have an associated schema type. The type information of the id field is necessary to implement #5.

To make the id behave more like a field, the cases of the IdGenerator enum need to be replaced by actual types. This deprecates both IdOptions and IdGenerator.

  • A type UniqueIdentifier needs to be added to represent the UUID/GUID case of the IdGenerator
  • A type SequentialValue needs to be added to represent the AUTO_INCREMENT case
